SETTLED is a federal document preparation platform built on FCRA §611, FDCPA, and U.S. consumer protection law.
Step 1 — Upload your credit report or collection notice. SETTLED's AI engine analyzes the document and identifies potential statutory violations.
Step 2 — SETTLED generates statute-specific dispute letters referencing the exact federal codes that apply to your situation.
Step 3 — You review, customize, and send. You can send via USPS Certified Mail directly from the platform (with legal chain of custody and tracking) or download and mail yourself.
Step 4 — Track your case. SETTLED monitors your 30-day federal investigation window and sends you SMS and email updates at every milestone.

When you send via SETTLED's certified mail feature, your letter is printed, sealed, and submitted to USPS with:
• Certified Mail tracking number (Form 3800) • Return receipt option (Form 3811) — provides legal proof of delivery • Documented chain of custody for legal proceedings
Under FCRA §611(a), the 30-day investigation clock starts when the credit bureau receives your letter. Certified mail with return receipt is the legally preferred method for documenting this.
SETTLED's certified mail service is powered by Lob, Inc. Once submitted, letters cannot be recalled. SETTLED is not responsible for USPS delays, returned mail, or incorrect addresses you provide.
You have federal rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA) that exist regardless of whether you use SETTLED:
• Free credit reports: You are entitled to one free report per year from each of the three major bureaus (Equifax, Experian, TransUnion) at AnnualCreditReport.com.
• Right to dispute: Under FCRA §611(a), you can dispute any inaccurate or unverifiable information directly with the credit bureaus. They must investigate within 30 days.
• Right to dispute with furnishers: Under FCRA §623, you can also dispute directly with the creditor or collector who reported the information.
• Right to validation: Under FDCPA §809, you can request debt validation from any debt collector within 30 days of first contact.
These rights are yours by federal law. SETTLED helps you exercise them with precision.
